Intel, China's DVN to Jointly Develop Dual-mode STB

Chinses STB (Set-Top Box) maker DVN (Digital Video Networks) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Intel on November 14, whereby the two companies will jointly develop a dual-model STB product which supports interactive digital entertainment services.

The joint development is expected leverage Intel's SoC (System-on-a-Chip) solutions and CE2110 processor, launched in April 2007. Projected features of the dual-mode STB include a high-end browser, videophone capability, and wireless gaming
